New Title and Cover Art: House of Mystery = Reckless Lovely

I wasn't ever totally happy with the title of my forthcoming collection (House of Mystery); I just couldn't think of what else to call it.

Now, thanks to my editors at Saturnalia Books, my next book has a brand-spanking new and much more fitting title: Reckless Lovely. Look for it in stores starting late February!

If you will be attending AWP in Seattle, you can hear me read at Seattle Rendezvous/Jewel Box Theatre, 2322 2nd Avenue (in Belltown), on Friday night, February 28, at 7 pm, where I will be reading with other Saturnalia and Bloof Books authors. There will also be live music!

If you miss that reading, or want to hear more, please mark your calendars for my solo release reading at Open Books: A Poem Emporium, 2414 N. 45th Street, Seattle: March 9, 2014, at the hour of 3 o'clock pm.

Bzz-bzzz!

Congratulations!

Thanks, Maureen. I wish I could take credit for the title - I wrote the words in a poem, but did not consider how entirely they encapsulate the thrust behind the book.

It's a perfect cover and title and you inspired them, so you have the credit!

Thanks for your endorsement, Jan.

Love the title. Love the cover. Bees, bees, oh, how I hate them, but they make cool cover art. See cover of my second book for more bees.

Thanks for your endorsement. I'm allergic - almost died from a sting in 1989. They are fascinating critters, and imperiled.
